Maximum Speed Reached 120 MPH

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Life

ok so a few weeks ago chris and i did the most stupidest thing in the world.. we raced… on 441, where the speed limit is 65, there is 10 mile stretch of nothing but horse and cow feilds/farms. Ok let me give u a little background on this first

HIM – 1997 4.6 V8 automatic 215HP and 285 flt STOCK
ME – 1995 3.8 V6 5 speed 195HP 235 FLT STOCK

Both are mustangs…

Who is gonna win?

odds are he will… but its wrong… so we raced and i really wasnt paying much attention to my speed. more paying attention to my RPM’s so i dont blow my tranny and motor…

well at one point i passed, i do have to admit tho i gave it all my car had… back to passing him, YEAH i passed him, and im like WTF why did u back down? his excuse was he was already at 120mph and was affraid his tires were gonna blow out because 1. they are bad to begin with and 2. they arent rated for that speed.. DUDE my tires are in the same conditions?????

well.. he admited i kicked his ass…

FUNNY PART ABOUT THIS STORY IS……..

so the other day his car which has an anti-theft device installed from the factory kinda broke.. told him he was trying to steal the car and cut the fuel pump off. haha well after 45 mins of trying to get it started it starts.. so he quickly drives it to his shop to get the scanner and hook it up to see if he can tell what is going on… it told him several things about the key and ignition and computer for the anti-theft..
AND……are you ready????

……. you sure…??…..

MAX SPEED REACHED 120MPH

So his car PHYSICALLY CANNOT go more than that.. it has been chipped/governed etc…

so why is it that his car is governed and mine isnt?

appearantly in 1996 they started chipping the ECM (computer in car) for the anti theft and speed modules… the speed one is actually a RPM safety mod…

so, who says v6’s cant hang with the big boys? MINE CAN…….and i still havent put my mods i want on it like my CAI and stage 3 clutch

5 ways to back up your data!

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Tech Tips

Backing up your data is a vital part if you use your computer on a day to day basis and store valuable un-replaceable information. Here are 5 ways to back up your data.

1. USB 2.0 flash drive. Some call it a thumb drive. You can get them at any electronic shop. Walmart carries them, you can get a decent 8gb for around $15.

2. CD/DVD – This only works if your computer has a cd burner or dvd burner. The disks are very cheap now. Just drag and drop and click the burn to disk button.

3. External Hard Drive – You can purchase one of these from any electronic store for around $50 – $100. It plugs in to the usb port, and shows up in my computer as another hard drive. Highlight the files you want, right click hit copy, open up the drive and right click – paste.

4. Secondary hard drive as slave – You can purchase another hard drive and plug it in internally. Follow the steps in option three.

5. Online data storage. Some are free and some are paid. You can easily upload files, photos, videos, and other important data.

Kids say the darnest things

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Parenting 101

ok so the other day i was driving home after picking the kids up from day care… i was heading to the store to buy diapers for the little ones. Asher asked me , “where do u buy the big people diapers at?” i responded at the store. So we pull in, getting ready to get out and Asher asked, “do they sell big people diapers here?” No very curious why he wants to know where they sell them at I ask.. he responds, “So i know where to go to buy them so i can take care of you when you get old!”

Yeah, he is 4 years old.
